Using Muito and Pouco

Both exercises below deal with words in Portuguese.

In the first exercise, you have to choose the best answer that describes the picture. Whenever you make a choice, click “check” or “verificar”, if that option is enabled to you in Portuguese.

Once you click check, you’ll see whether you got it right or wrong.

In the second exercise, you have to read the whole sentence and decide whether you want to use muito or pouco. It can be tricky, so read carefully before settling for one of them. Context will help you.

Also, decide whether the words you’re picking are adverbs or adjectives. Remember, if they are adverbs they never change. If they are adjectives, they change.
