A Short and Sweet Exercise on Using Prepositions of Place in Portuguese

You don’t have to type anything for this exercise. All you need to do is to answer allowed what the card is asking. If according to the picture you see that something is on top of something else, you should say so. Only then should you flip the card and see the correct answer.

In this kind of exercise, speed is the name of the game. You want to have a “knee-jerk” reaction to the picture. Only this will you free up mental energy in your mind to tackle more complicated subjects in a conversation.

In the second exercise, you should analyze the sentences and say whether they are correct (true) or incorrect (false). The prepositions are your focus here. If you say a sentence is incorrect, try and give the correct answer before clicking (false); you’ll be shown the right answer.
